26 Sep 2022 Elisabetta Brambilla Reconfirmed in the Role of President of GIPEA

Elisabetta Brambilla, President of Eurolabel, was reconfirmed in her role as President of GIPEA – Gruppo Italiano Produttori Etichette Autoadesive (Italian group of self-adhesive label manufacturers).

Alongside her, the new board will be called to bring new energy to take on the challenges in the sector: from the energy crisis to price increases, from shortages of raw materials to the issues linked to upcoming regulations.

GIPEA reconfirmed Elisabetta Brambilla as President at its annual meeting held in Sirolo, near Ancona, on 22 and 23 September 2022.

In a complex economic scenario, Elisabetta Brambilla will be required to take on the future challenges of the world of self-adhesive labels.

“We hope to bring new energy in order to take on together the challenges that our sector needs to deal with: from the energy crisis to price increases, from shortages of raw materials to difficulties linked to upcoming legislation.

In a complex scenario, we have to remember the importance of networking, within the group and the entirety of the Federazione and Assografici network, because we can’t forget that the problems we are facing are common to the entire world of graphic arts.”

These were the first words of the new President to the audience and the GIPEA board.

GIPEA is Gruppo Italiano Produttori Etichette Autoadesive (Italian group of self-adhesive label manufacturers) which brings together over 70 manufacturers specialised in the production of self-adhesive labels on rolls, and over 30 supporting members representing suppliers of raw materials and technologies.

The group, founded in 1989, operates within the Confindustria industrial association system through Assografici – Associazione nazionale delle industrie grafiche, cartotecniche e trasformatrici (national association of graphics and paper converting industries) – and is a member of Finat, the international association for the European label industry.
