ABL Tube and PBL Tube
Depending on the product they contain, laminate tubes may have a barrier layer of aluminium or plastic.
- ABL (Aluminium Barrier Laminate) tubes are a metal-plastic composite tube with a thin layer of aluminium between the plastic ones, ideal for high-quality cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.
- PBL (Plastic Barrier Laminate) tubes are made entirely from plastic. Amongst the various layers is an EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) film layer which serves to protect the product and extend its duration.
