Eurolabel’s new plant follows a precise energy efficiency model. The DALI system allows us to intelligently adjust the switching on, off and intensity of lights according to the presence of people, as well as ensuring correct management of malfunctions. The polymerisation systems have eliminated exposure to ozone and UVB/UVC during printing, The centralised material waste recovery systems have reduced handling of loads.

We have installed an innovative solar PV system to achieve energy independence: it is managed by an internal platform which, through an app, allows for precise management of the energy produced and consumed and its operation; each panel is operated individually, and so in the event of a fault it will not be necessary to replace the entire system.

Every day in Italy, 30 million plastic bottles are consumed. For this reason, we have provided all Eurolabel employees with a Thermos flask to fill up at the water fountains installed in our premises, and removed bottled water from our vending machines.

We have identified systems which allow us to optimise our energy efficiency without the use of fossil fuels, preventing the emission of greenhouse gases which represent one of the biggest causes of global warming and climate change affecting our planet.

We work with Cycle4green, the largest European service for the recycling of paper liners in partnership with Avery Dennison. Recycling of the glassine paper allows for a reduction in the waste produced which can be put back into the economic system in the full spirit of sustainability and circular economy principles.

All our company car fleet is composed of hybrid vehicles, and we have installed charging columns at our premises in Lainate to contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution.

We work with an environmental friendly recovery service for exhausted toner cartridges: this involves the toner powder being rendered inert and the different components of the cartridges separated into secondary raw materials to be placed back on the market. Zerozerotoner is also a partner of Print Releaf: for every ecobox collected, a tree will be planted as part of a reforestation project.

We are part of a virtuous logistics program in partnership with Tosca which involves the use of recyclable plastic pallets. Plastic pallets are indeed more durable and stronger compared to wooden ones, making them suitable for longer-term use, reducing the risk of damage and waste along the procurement chain. This project will allow savings of over 800 tonnes of CO2 emissions in Europe in a year.

For exhibitions and events, we choose contractors who provide the rental of structures and materials which are reused at the end of the event.
For our promotional gadgets, we prefer sustainable and recyclable solutions made with biodegradable materials or from recycled sources.

We are a company certified by Print Releaf, a global reforestation project which allows us to offset our paper consumption. The Print Releaf system is based on the EPN Paper Calculator, the most accurate tool for determining and comparing the volume of paper consumed to the trees felled to produce it.
