Case Study
A craft brewery turned to us to solve two issues:

• Eliminate bubbles under the label.
• Prevent scratching and damage to the label during packing, picking and transport.

 

Challenge: identify the print technologies and materials best suited to this application.

Strategy: in synergy with the customer, we examined the following aspects:

• Presence of bubbles: we examined the production and labelling process.
• Scratches and imperfections: we re-examined the graphics and evaluated other printing technologies.

 

Solution: Our team, based on its extensive experience in this sector, identified a solution to both issues:

• Presence of bubbles: we identified a suitable material which is resistant to low temperatures and water contamination, and recommended some tips to implement during the application phase.
• Scratches and imperfections: we decided to modify the print technology to provide resistance to scratching and at the same time enhance the label by creating a relief effect.
