27 Nov 2023 Gradients and small texts: Eurolabel wins at the Best in Flexo awards with the Blonde Voyage label
At the Best in Flexo 2023, the Blonde Voyage label printed by Eurolabel for Huwell Chemicals spa stood out for its perfect mixture of precision and technique in the use of flexographic printing, winning the award for the Combined and Creative Use of the Flexographic Process.
The label features neat graphics which gave Eurolabel the ability to highlight some visual elements, while at the same time working on the tactile component.
Realistic Brush Effect
The Blonde Voyage label is made from white polypropylene film and is printed with a 7-colour process with the addition of a screen-printed colour which highlights the brush-stroke effect at the bottom of the pack
Clean, Uniform Gradients
The gradient is undoubtedly the strength of this label: the transition from blue to white is uniform and the changes in colour are not distinguishable by the naked eye.
The Label is also a Question of Touch
The label also wins over the sense of touch: the matt varnish lends the packaging a pleasing velvet effect which alternates with the relief of the white screen-printed text, offering an experience which goes beyond the visual.
Readability of Very Small Text
The precision of the printing work is found in particular in the excellent legibility of the very small text printed in negative (white text on blue background), containing the INCI and the instructions for use and disposal of the product.
