02 Feb 2024 Eurolabel invests in empowerment and safety with a self defence course
Eurolabel recently took a significant step in its commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and empathic work environment, placing a particular focus on the empowerment of its female employees by organising a self defence course.
The initiative, with the goal of providing women with the tool to feel strong, safe and independent, was developed in partnership with A.S.D. Kankudojo di Parabiago, a martial arts school which, over the years, has run numerous projects and courses for female self defence.
A Self Defence Course for Empowerment
A self defence course can make a positive contribution to women’s empowerment in various ways, providing not only practical self defence skills but also strengthening trust and personal awareness.
Participating in the self defence course has also allowed experiences to be shared and reciprocal support created, encouraging collective empowerment.
In addition to the course in the company, participants will be able to continue the course at A.S.D. Kankudojo in order to refine the techniques learned.

Not Just Empowerment: Eurolabel’s Initiatives for the Community
The self defence course is just one of the numerous steps taken by the company not only to promote female empowerment, but also gender equality and community sustainability.
A commitment which goes beyond the confines of the office, helping mould a more equal society.
We would like to thank the A.S.D. Kankudojo martial arts school in Parabiago for its support, and particularly the instructors Francesco Pappalardo, Enzo Soresi, Diego Guenzi, Gianluigi Minzon and Francesca Piciaccia for making the course extraordinary, and we look to the future with the goal of implementing further programs to promote a safe and inclusive work environment.
