11 May 2021 Reduce Packaging – Increase the Space on the Label
Reducing the environmental impact of packaging is a prerogative for many brands, however this often leads to a reduction in the quantity of packaging and a decrease in the printable area available for text and branding: in these cases, multi-page labels can provide a real helping hand.
Case Study
One of our customers decided to launch a new range of products without secondary packaging, choosing to insert all information in a label without foregoing the aesthetic aspect.
The Challenge: to find a labelling solution for all tub, bottle, tube and stick containers while increasing the label space for multilingual information.
The Solution: we identified the most suitable solutions alongside the customer, creating multi-page labels from two to seven pages, coupons, twins, roll-ups and booklets.
In order to achieve this result, the project consisted of four phases:
- Understanding customer requirements and desired performance.
- Assessing the type of product and graphics.
- Choosing multi-page labelling solutions which conform to the primary packaging.
- Supporting the customer in the development of the artwork.
Benefits: the use of multi-page solutions has provided numerous benefits.
- Reduction in the environmental impact of the packaging.
- Reduction in costs, eliminating secondary packaging.
- Increase in space to dedicated to graphics.
Multi-page labelling solutions are often the solution preferred by brands; thanks to the increase in printable area, they allow all necessary information to be inserted without foregoing the aesthetic aspect and brand recognisability.
